About Me
Short Story

I call myself Radio Joe because I learned to play guitar listening to the radio. I started playing music in bars at 14. Became a union musician in the 1970's. I am a singer and guitar player who is still learning with every gig and song how to be a better musician. I can play and sing in many styles, but I enjoy Soul music and vocal jazz the most. Love songs are my focus. When I play and sing a love song with feeling and intention I can feel the connection to the listener. My two bands are Radio Joe and the Jazzbos and Old Skool Soul. I also do solo gigs, jobbing gigs, church gigs and play in a wedding band, the Bruce A. Henry Orchestra.
